Dance and Cheer Team are Specialty classes which require prior dance experience, meet above age level requirements and support our absence policy. Rising Stars Dance and Cheer Team represent our studio during halftime Entertainment shows for The University of Idaho, Washington State University and Pullman High School. Dance and Cheer Team is a perfect program designed for those who love to perform!

Information:
Team classes are required to purchase a Team jacket, duffle bag, class uniform and performance costume. Rising Stars offers a payment plan for team members, we also provide an annual fundraiser.

Dance Team meets for an hour once a week. The first 40 minutes of class will consist to a proper stretch, across the floor combinations and Drill down technique. A Drill Down competition is held each week in class and ribbons are provided. All levels join for the last 20 minutes for routine work.

Cheer Team meets for an hour once a week. The first 30 minutes of class will consist to a proper stretch, tumbling on mats and pom technique. A pom competition is held each week in class and ribbons are provided. The last 20 minutes is dedicated to a routine with stunts.
