History
Owner/ Director, Keri Oldroyd established Rising Stars Dance Studio in 2007. Classes were held inside the Bishop Place Senior Living. With a little over a dozen students, Rising Stars began summer clinics and performed in the Lentil Festival parade. Rising Stars was awarded Best Entertainment in 2007 and Most Creative in 2008.
Rising Stars specializes in Dance Team, Cheer, Ballet, Tap and Hip Hop. Classes are properly designed and organized for toddlers and youth training. Adult classes specialize in dance technique, aerobics, attitude and team work! Class room objectives include stretching, technique, discipline, unity and fun! Rising Stars offers the opportunity to gain self-esteem and stage presence through annual performance opportunities. Rising Stars works hard to present an affordable program for everyone.

Our goal is to create a fun, uplifting, challenging and positive atmosphere for our students. We proudly work together on showmanship to become one team. Sharing our talent will provide our studio with long and lasting friendships with memories for you and your family.
